Men in suits look very elegant and attractive. But how, when choosing a similar form of clothing, to determine how the product is sewn and whether it is made with high quality. Elena Brezhneva, a men's clothing designer, winner of numerous fashion and design contests, an expert in individual tailoring, told why a high-quality suit should be created industrially at a factory, what advantages the thread method of attaching a sideboard has, and also told what a non-glued suit is.

“As you know, a man's suit is one of the most complicated garments. In addition, many men refuse to wear a suit, saying that it is very uncomfortable in it. So, the quality of a suit just consists in a comfortable feeling, in its convenience, in the ability to move freely in it,”says Elena.

How are these points achieved? The answer is simple - sewing technology and patterns (drawing tools).

Most menswear manufacturers pass off expensive branded fabrics as high-quality suits. Accordingly, ordinary consumers, without hesitation, buy this thing, and then they are disappointed. A good fabric for tailoring a suit is valued for its naturalness, hygroscopicity and breathability. If a high-quality fabric is sealed with glue technology, then nothing will remain of it except the brand.

Of course, most men, when buying a suit, look at its appearance - color, model and lining. However, a man's suit is a multi-layered product. Between the "covers" there are a few more layers of side gaskets. The bead forms the frame of the product, as the foundation for the building. How long the product will retain its shape and how comfortable it will be will depend on how technologically correct it is assembled and connected to future clothes.

Here it is just necessary to use thread sewing technology. It allows you to connect four layers of bead pads to each other using special air stitches. Next comes a series of steps:

- the bead is soaked for a day

- it dries in a natural way (this will allow all layers that contain natural fibers, including horse and goat hair, to accept maximum shrinkage so that the product does not subsequently deform after dry cleaning)

- by fastening, the jacket shelf is bent over the rim with elastic chain stitches.

What result to expect from air and chain stitches, professionally speaking, elements of tailor's technology? They allow all layers to move relative to each other during a person's movement, so that he gets comfort while wearing a jacket. And now, for comparison, let's imagine that all the same 4 or 5 layers of the jacket are connected with glue. This is a "hard cake". Of course, this jacket will not be comfortable to bend around the figure and it will be inconvenient for the body to move in it.

Thus, hand sewing is the key to an excellent, comfortable, high-quality suit. It is enough just to choose the right lacquers, convenient technology with tailor's elements and good materials - then both the manufacturer and the consumer will be satisfied.
