On October 22, the grand opening of the Fashion Week in Moscow took place. The famous Russian couturier Valentin Yudashkin gave a bright start to the 25th anniversary Moscow Fashion Week, presenting two of his lines in one show at once - Valentin Yudashkin and Yudashkin Kids.

For the first time in the 25-year history of his participation, an honorary resident of the Fashion Week in Moscow, a member of the Association for Haute Couture and Ready-to-Wear and a laureate of the Golden Mannequin award - the Grand Prix of the Haute Couture Week in Moscow, held a show not on the main podium of the Gostiny courtyard, and in the Street Fashion zone, thus exploring a new fashionable space. The inspiration for the new collection of the maestro "Contemporary Art prêt-à-porter spring-summer 2020" this time was the work of the French artist Fabienne Verdier.

The collection is based on black and white graphics with an emphasis on brush strokes, strokes and lines, made using appliqués, embroidery and volumetric articulations. Bright open colors such as cadmium yellow, scarlet and ultramarine, in turn, added expression. Raincoats became a memorable element of the fashion show, the colors of which demonstrated the entire palette of a modern metropolis. The designer stressed that along with traditional materials such as silk and heavy satin duchess, this year he used various cotton fabrics in the collection: twill, poplin and batiste.

The continuity of generations and family traditions have always been the main values for the Yudashkin dynasty. In the SS'20 season, the creative director of the brand, Galina Yudashkina, was inspired by the brightness and flavor of Mexico. The collection has incorporated the most fashionable shades of the season: mint, pure blue, thick yellow and other colors from the summer palette. Staying true to the heritage of Valentin Yudashkin Fashion House, the show featured unique cuts and perfect fit, as well as an abundance of artisanal embroidery. Shimmer and play of sequins on dresses, complemented by weightless capes and summer coats with a train, became the main hits of the collection. Yudashkin Kids, without betraying themselves, used exclusively natural materials: silk organza, taffeta and cotton. Hand-made embroidery and decorative trims made each of the looks unique.

The guests of honor of the show were Tatyana Mikhalkova, Alexander Buinov, Lev Leshchenko, Natalya Koroleva, Alsou, Valdis Pelsh, Klara Novikova, Maria Fedorova, Daria Konovalova and many other artists and socialites.
