The day before, the final of the 2012 competition of fashion designers named after Nadezhda Lamanova was held at the SlavZaitsev Fashion House. 38 designers showed their collections within the framework of the "Half Century of Glory" theme.

The Grand Prix was won by Nikolay Kyvyrzhik from Ivanovo with a collection of white evening and wedding dresses "Lost in Luxury".

The first place and a number of special prizes were given to Ekaterina Pigulevskaya with a collection inspired by the Harlequins and the work of Vivienne Westwood.

The jury also awarded two second places - Elena Rudermel from Khabarovsk (collection "The Maid of Orleans", accompanied by a very interesting fashion video) and Marina Iskandarova from Moscow; as well as two thirds - Julia Caesar and Svetlana Kislova (both from Moscow).
