On July 27, the Moscow State University Botanical Garden "Apothecary Garden" will host the opening of the annual exhibition "Lilies and Other Flowers of July", which will present many species and varieties of everyone's favorite lilies and other flowering plants of the second half of summer.

Visitors will be able to breathe in the rich aroma of lilies, admire the burnet, tender astilbe, aconite, echinacea, daylily
and admire the variety of phlox colors.
The program until July 30 inclusive - a corner with rare species of shrubs and trees.

Personal exhibitions of members of various sections of the Moscow Flower Growers club will also be open until August 7.
All presented plants were grown in the Moscow Region gardens. Experts
will tell you about the secrets of agricultural technology, introduce you to the novelties of breeding and advise which plants to buy.

About 30 species and many varieties and cultivars of lilies are grown in gardens around the world. Most of them can be cultivated
outdoors in Central Europe, and partly in Russia. The most capricious are oriental lilies. With a fairly general agricultural technique, each class of lilies has
its own characteristics. Knowing them, it is easier to get a good result. That is why from year to year, lily lovers tend to exhibitions in the
"Pharmaceutical Garden".

The organizers of the exhibitions are the "Moscow Flower Growers" club under the OVOP on Novinsky Boulevard.
It is possible to order planting material.

From August 1 in the tropics in the Botanical Garden of the Moscow State University "Apothecary Garden" concerts are resumed - in the Subtropical Greenhouse with
orchids, palms and magnolias.

The rich program of August includes music from "The Lord of the Rings" and Miyazaki cartoons, hits of Queen on strings and percussion, symphonic rock hits, classical music, a jazz festival, melodies from sunny Georgia, "Concert with Tchaikovsky" performed by Sergey Mazaev's QUEENtet, Moscow pipers' orchestra, Anton Lavrentiev's musical and poetry show, Michael Jackson's hits on his birthday, baroque music, Sati Kazanova's ethnic concert Sati Ethnica.

The subtropical greenhouse in the "Aptekarsky Ogorod", immersed in greenery, is
one of the most atmospheric venues in Moscow.
The concerts start at 21:00.

The organizers of the event guarantee compliance with all established standards with a room filling of 50%.
Concert tickets give the right to visit all exhibitions and expositions in the Botanical Garden of the Moscow State University "Apothecary Garden".

Now "Aptekarsky Ogorod" does not have enough funds to
hold an autumn flower festival with exhibitions of chrysanthemums, harvests and grapes. With the help of a crowdsourcing project, from July 18 to 22, it was possible to
raise 1 million rubles - in total, about 4 million rubles need to be raised.
