Each person sees the same object differently. Each has its own set of feelings, emotions. Sometimes we can guess them, and sometimes, in front of you - a mysterious person, like a closed book, which can be read and cognized only gradually, being surprised and admiring new information. These people include Anna DeLuna.
Anna DeLuna, a creative fashion photographer and photo producer, had an incredibly vivid imagination since childhood. Anna's father is a diplomat, and for over 10 years she has not lived in Russia. She absorbed several cultures, mentalities at once and did not grow up like everyone else. Perhaps this is why her approach to photography is different from that of many Russian fashion photographers. Love for photography began since childhood: from flowers, sights, it has grown into cool thematic photo projects that have made it to the pages of fashion and art magazines in Russia, the USA and Europe.
Many tried to teach the girl to think in a standard way, as, in their opinion, is correct, but the craving for something bright and non-trivial still overpowered. This is the case when the "white crow" became a firebird: the bright colors of her photographs, non-standard accents even in minimalist portraits will always catch your eye. Love for color and the ability to catch emotion in the frame have become her hallmark.
The range of shooting styles is huge. In each of her works, Anna DeLuna tries to convey some kind of unique world, plot, idea. Even for traditional fashion shoots, she looks for a specific concept and tries to create something that will grab the viewer's attention.
The Fairy Tales for Adults exhibition is a rare opportunity for an adult viewer to touch their inner child, smile and recharge with positive emotions.
Photographer Anna DeLuna, together with her team of stylists, designers, makeup artists and decorators, will try to take you to the revived world of childhood. This will be facilitated by creative installations, which, on the one hand, will be a continuation of photographic pictures, and on the other, non-standard photo zones. You can feel like a little Thumbelina or Peter Pen, meet a bird of paradise, remember how bright your fantasy world was when you built castles from bright cubes.
It should be noted that Russian designers took part in the creation of all the presented images. An important role in the history of the project is played by the decorator, who brought the photographer's idea into reality and created all the installations for the exhibition - Natalie Spider.
Exhibition-installation by Anna DeLuna will run at the Manege from 5 to 12 December. At the same time, on the opening day, the installations will become an integral part of the FollowTheFabrika 2017 finals show. A competition for a free photo session from a photographer will be drawn among the visitors of the exhibition.
