Bertrand Guyon presented his debut collection for Elsa Schiaparelli Fashion House. The designer immediately won the attention of the stars and colleagues who attended the show.
Actress Meg Ryan was the first to confess her love to Bertrand, who said that from the final pink dress she "ran down her back." Meg also noted a black velvet dress with stars on the shoulders. Guyon's debut was also congratulated by his godparents Maria Grazia Chiuri and Pierpaolo Piccioli, with whom the designer studied at the Valentino House. Obviously, the newcomer did his homework perfectly.
Bertrand called his first collection “Theater of Elsa” and dedicated it to the great surrealist. In general, the collection can be considered a litmus test, showing that Guyon is well versed in the traditions and DNA of the House entrusted to him. He used fur as the main material to give the outfits a certain weirdness and signature style of Elsa Schiaparelli. A mink skirt with a face on the hip is not a sight for the faint of heart, although the guests of the show could then see a pink fur sweater with a heart cut out on it.
The collection also features traditional Hollywood flair and retro chic. Gold embroidery on dark green satin, oversized brocade biker jackets, crocodile leather combined with organza … These images are really interesting to look at.
