On March 28, within the framework of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russi, the collection of students and graduates of the "Vyacheslav Zaitsev Fashion Laboratory" was shown.
This year, Vyacheslav Mikhailovich selected 6 collections to participate in the Fashion Week:
Vera Kalugina, collection "Into the WILD"
The collection was inspired by the wild and harsh corners of the Earth, atmospheric landscapes of Iceland, Alaska, Siberia. The power and strength of natural phenomena invariably makes a person feel fragility and fragility, and at the same time awakens the deepest emotions, reveals the true qualities of nature, reveals the essence. In extreme conditions, we become who we are.
The main cut lines are dynamic and broken, the main accent is complex textures reminiscent of solidified lava, volcanic sand, icy sharp edges, loose snow. The collection is designed in achromatic colors - black, white and shades of gray are used in various combinations.
Gortovanova Katerina, collection "Sterile Black"
An aspiring designer creating his own style of laconic comfort. The use of materials such as leather, neoprene, silk in the collection makes it possible to create harmonious images by combining different textures: rough with delicate, simple with luxurious. Ergonomics and ease.
Yulia Vasilieva, collection "Game of Shadows / Game of shadows"
The idea of Julia's collection is in harmonious simplicity of cut, where details and decorative elements only complement the images. The use of materials such as Yak fur, cashmere and leather creates a multi-textured and play of shades of black. Romantic style in an atypical interpretation: tenderness and a slender silhouette, as a basis, are emphasized by the contrast of voluminous shapes, heavy fabrics and flowing silky fur, thereby achieving the necessary balance of luxury and democracy.
Galina Biryukova, collection "ROTTERDAM"
Nothing is important, everything is only valuable, without this there will be no future day. Colors live, merging into the form, and the form breathes without fire. We just took the gray colors and the gamut has grown….
The name of Galina's collection - "Rotterdam" - is no coincidence. A large Dutch city, the oldest port of a great maritime power on the shores of sea routes, saturated with salty winds and the drone of ship's horns. The marine theme intersects with the feelings seen in the paintings of her beloved, faithful husband and companion, artist Nikolai Biryukov. His painting "Rotterdam" from a series of Suprematist "studies" of the period of sea voyages in European countries, became the starting point for the creation of this collection. It would seem that with all the scarcity and monotony of color and object, we are very acutely beginning to perceive the nuances of all gradations, metaphors and even allegories of the meaning of the transmission of our perceptions. And the light of the lighthouse, and the Milky Way against the background of the night sky, and the white caps of hissing waves during a storm, the fierce cold of the icy spray make us appreciate the truth infinitely.Galina used the fragility of the fabric, like a painter of paint, to convey the symbol of the gradation of feelings through form. And the color spectrum is broken down into parts. Where it is sharp, where it is contrasting, where it is close and almost nil.
Natalia Matveeva, М7, collection "BEYOND"
The embodiment of the idea of the facets of consciousness that go beyond the limits of everyday life. "Crocodile" is presented as an image of a night deity, combining in itself the symbolism of the extinction of life and rebirth, night and morning, the underworld and outer space. Emphasis on contrasts: a combination of warm wool with a delicate mesh-tulle, neoprene with leather, suit fabric with jersey.
Katya Aslamova, collection "BOY"
The history of the ASLAMOV brand began in 2013, when Katya Aslamova discovered the profession of a designer and released her debut collection ASLAMOVSS 13. In 2014, Katya graduated from Vyacheslav Zaitsev's Fashion Laboratory and created her second collection "On the Verge of Sex", which reflected all facets of a woman, according to the designer. This collection represented inner freedom and breadth of perception, where everyone can open up to the world without being afraid to share themselves. The new collection is called "BOY" and reveals the female theme in a new format - a fight with yourself! The junction of femininity and strength, striving for their dreams not to lose their greatest natural beauty - unity, wisdom and femininity.
