On October 21, the opening of the 31st season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russia took place. Traditionally, he opened the Fashion Week with the presentation of the new collection of the spring-summer 2016 season "Patterns of Life" pret-a-porter de lux, the master of domestic fashion SLAVZAITSEV. Flying silhouettes, clean lines, careful detailed elaboration along with ornamental, geometric and graphic items found in the line - the master suggested considering options for all occasions. Following the general line of dynastic development of his own brand, Vyacheslav Zaitsev included the YeZ collection by YEGORZAITSEV in the show as a separate block. The designer continued to experiment with the military style, textured fabrics, rigid silhouettes. Separately, a line of clothes inspired by circus aesthetics was presented - cheerful and festive colors.

Further, designer Yulia Ivanova and her brand IVANOVA presented their collection RAPSODIDEL MAR spring-summer 2016. The style in which she creates can be described as "fusion" - the designer mixes emphatically feminine silhouettes with relaxed, more inherent in a man's suit. The main colors of the collection are boiling white and deep blue, which corresponds to the theme of the resort city of Sochi and the sea, which inspired the designer.

The AnnPlatie collection was inspired by nature. Light asymmetry, muted shades, tenderness and calmness. The leading materials are velvet, silk, leather, from the finishing - a little metallic luster and decorative elements decorated with hand-painted.

This was followed by a show of the new collection "Blossom" by designer KseniKnyazeva, inspired by the records and the atmosphere of the 70s. Mint, lilac-lilac and pink are the predominant colors in this light, toy-like line of looks. Elegant dresses, sophisticated suits, a combination of denim items to create a stylish look - there are things for a cocktail party, as well as for business meetings or social events.

Next, Georgian designer Aka Nanitashvili and her brand AKNANITA presented her collection. The collection was created under the influence of architecture and geometry - the style of the big city is reflected in clothes and its colors - black and white textured, satin and transparent fabrics, subtle elaboration of prints and play with vertical, horizontal lines and silhouettes.

Bright outfits in the VikSmolyanitskay show replaced each other, like pictures in popular cartoons and were duplicated in two color combinations. Asymmetrical dresses and skirts, bombers, crop tops, coats formed the basis of the collection and represented an avant-garde mix. Not without mini and bathing suits.

A collection called "Pop Art" was presented by the designer DashGauser. Playful slogans, bold statements, familiar motives and curtsies to Andy Warhol are the hallmarks of the new collection. Dasha's arsenal includes geometric shapes, ornament and shiny decor on feminine silhouettes of dresses.

This was followed by the BGN show, stylized by Alexander Rogov, presenting combinations of translucent silk, wide frills of fluttering skirts, flirty costumes. Lollipop jumpsuits are replaced by contrasting aquamarine trouser tandems and silk base tops. Sleeveless vests and ribbon ties hold back the flowing silhouette, set off by open metallic leather sandals.

The ARAIDA brand completed the series of shows. Plaid cotton dress-shirts with tassels and flowing skirts to the floor held in a light peplum, evoke a sense of clean lines. The semi-sheer bottom is balanced by a thick wool top and rough details - backpacks with bows and appliqués or a quilted bag with a metal chain.

In addition to the main shows, presentations of the brands KoJewelry and LudNikishina took place in the showrooms of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russi. The creator of the KoJewelry brand Olga Kenigson presented three collections for every taste - CHIC (for lovers of luxury and bohemian chic), MAMASIT (for fashionable mothers) and SMILE (for creative and positive people). The assortment is varied: from complex ear cuffs to perky rings for every day.

Sheepskin and wool, houndstooth and plain, oversized and classics of outerwear from LudNikishin accompany fitted dresses and A-line skirts with wide frills in thick silk and viscose. A scarlet flash in the delicate collection was a silk rowan coat.

Also, within the framework of MBFW Russi, a presentation of the book by Gosha Rubchinskiy YOUTH HOTEL took place in the KM20 store. And on October 20, on the eve of the official opening of the Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week in Russia, a show of the ESVE brand took place. The debut collection was inspired by ancient Russian wedding ceremonies, but along with this, the principles of national Japanese costumes were used.
