Famous beauties Kylie Minogue, Claudi Schiffer and SiennMiller take part in a photo shoot for a massive campaign against breast cancer. Famous photographer Mario Testino became the creator of the pictures, in which the only clothes of the girls were fabric with the logo of a charitable organization. With this act, celebrities intend to draw public attention to the need to research a deadly disease and help targeted charitable foundations.
Fashion designer Ralph Lauren launched the annual fashion industry-backed campaign after his friend NinHyde, fashion editor at the Washington Post, died of the dreaded disease in 1990. When the campaign was launched in the UK, where more than 46,000 women are diagnosed with breast cancer every year, in 1996 about £ 10.5 million was raised in support of the fund. It all started with an original T-shirt with the logo of the organization, then other wardrobe items were developed, with the purchase of which about 30% of the price goes directly to charity.
The campaign is another step of Kylie Minogue in the fight against breast cancer on a global scale, because after the successful healing of the singer herself in 2005, she, like no one else, understands the need for mutual help and everyone's contribution to a common cause.
