International festival of fashion, arts and photography "Ethnomoda-2020" has finished accepting applications for participation. This year the festival, held annually in Maykop with the support of RSM, will take place on December 1-2 and will bring together more than 100 contestants.
Designers from 20 regions of Russia (from Krasnodar to Chukotka), as well as from Italy, Spain, Israel, Turkey, Japan, Latin America (Colombia, Ecuador, Brazil, Argentina) and Africa will present their collections in 6 nominations. The screenings will be held in face-to-face and distance formats and will be broadcast by the European channel Fame World TV.
The festival jury, chaired by international fashion analyst, fashion guru Alexander Khilkevich, along with Russian experts, will include specialists from Italy, Israel, Spain, Turkey, Japan and the United States:
Luca Boffi (Italy) - designer and popularizer of modern ethnostyle, heir to the famous design dynasty Boffi.
Anna Solo (Israel) is a star teacher at the renowned Shenkar College of Design, one of the best fashion schools in the world.
Olga If (Spain) is the creator of several fashion brands and a successful fashion producer, holder of the Guinness World Record for fashion.
Maria Alessandra Vanetti (Italy) is a marketer and expert in luxury goods sales, whose clients include the world famous brand Missoni.
Habip Dayoglu (Turkey) is a legendary professor at Istanbul University, thanks to whose experience Turkey has won priority positions in the field of world textiles.
Ichiro Tsushida (Japan) - designer and buyer of international brands, curator of educational programs in the field of fashion, aesthetics and style.
Julia Kerner (USA) is the designer behind the projects of which the iconic models Iris Van Herpen and the costumes for the ethno-blockbuster Black Panther, which won the Oscar for design in 2019, are created
The business program of the festival will focus on the economic aspects of using ethnicity in modern collections and new digital methods of brand promotion, including 3D technologies and virtual reality.
