Alexander Khilkevich: Moscow Will Send 20 Designers To Paris

Renowned fashion analyst Alexander Khilkevich announced the planned trip of 20 metropolitan designers to Paris with the support of the Moscow Government.

According to Alexander Khilkevich, during the Fashion Week (23.09 - 01.10) in Paris, the MODE: MOSCOW project will be implemented. Within its framework, 20 Moscow fashion companies (which are not official participants in Paris Fashion Week) organize a showroom to present their clothing collections. All expenses for organizing the showroom are compensated by the Moscow budget.

To participate in the project, the mayor's office collected applications from May to June. As a result, out of 70 applicants, 20 were selected (see the list below). The brands were assessed “according to the relevance of design solutions, export potential, image and demand in the domestic market,” noted Alexander Khilkevich.
