Caitlin Jenner, Lena Dunham, Adele, Malala, Marina Abramovich and the Williams sisters have become the heroines of the legendary photographer's new exhibition.

Annie Leibovitz presents the exhibition Women: New Portraits. The project, started in 1999 in collaboration with Susan Sontag, has finally been continued. In fact, the photographer included in the new exhibition the work done for the new Pirelli calendar, complementing them with other fresh works. Project goal: to show the concept of a new femininity based on the personalities of famous and influential women of our time.
The new exhibition will feature 22 new images, including portraits of Caitlyn Jenner, Gloria Steinem, Lena Dunham, Adele, Laura Poitras, Amy Schumer and other famous girls who "move the world." Leibovitz admitted that she would like to supplement the gallery with a portrait of Angela Merkel, but so far she has not received consent from the German politician.
The exhibition will be on display in London from January 16 to February 7, and then will begin touring the world. The geography of the project includes cities such as Tokyo, San Francisco, Singapore, Hong Kong, Mexico City, Istanbul, Frankfurt, New York and Zurich.
