Yesterday Beth Ditto announced the launch of her own clothing line and presented the first images of the lookbook. The singer, whose solo debut is slated for mid-year, revealed that she is working on a plus-size collection back in December. Then Beth said that her lifelong dream is "to design real clothes for fat people, clothes that will be comfortable and cool." Ditto also said that she sews her clothes in a small factory in the United States in accordance with ethical standards. She defined the style of the debut collection as uncompromising and timeless.
For the lookbook, the singer posed herself, and also invited plus-size models - Barbie Ferreira and Filomena Kwao. By the way, these girls recently appeared on the pages of the Huffington Post with an article about diversity in the fashion industry.
