On June 17, in Moscow, at the Radisson Royal Hotel "Ukraine", a qualifying round among the Russian participants in the Color Zoom Challenge took place. The International Color Zoom Challenge, organized by Goldwell, has gathered professionals from more than 26 countries since 2004. In 2010, the competition is being held for the fourth time in Russia. In the future, the works of the winners will take part in the international semi-final in mid-July in Germany, at which the jury - experts in the beauty industry from different countries, will have to decide which of the national winners will take part in the final of the competition in Paris.
National winners were selected in the following categories:
The Global Creative Colorist category is for stylists who have more than 5 years of experience with GOLDWELL products and have used Topchic, Colorance and / or Elumen paints to create their entry.
The Global New Talent Colorist category is for stylists who have less than 5 years of experience with GOLDWELL products and have used Topchic, Colorance and / or Elumen paints to create their entry.
The Global Partner Colorist category is for stylists who work for GOLDWELL as technologists, freelancers, conduct seminars or take part in shows, and have used Topchic, Colorance and / or Elumen paints to create a competition entry.
The national jury included: art director of Laima-Lux Group Alexander Shevchuk - chairman of the jury, makeup artist Vladimir Kalinichev, photographer Vladimir Shirokov, national winners of the Color Zoom Challenge of the past years and other representatives of the beauty industry. The jury had to make a difficult decision - among the many applicants to choose the most worthy works that will go to the next international qualifying round.
After the international semi-final, the names of the three national winners will be announced, who will go to the final of the competition in Paris on October 10-12, 2010. More than 2,000 Goldwell partners from all over the world are expected to attend this year. Guests of the final of the competition can expect several spectacular shows during Paris Fashion Week.

Tatiana Vaikule opened the press conference with a welcoming speech and spoke about the history of the Color Zoom Challenge competition in Russia, one of the most significant events in the field of professional coloring, which has no analogues both in Russia and around the world.
The press conference presented the nominees for the national qualifying round in each of the three categories, also summed up the interim results of the Color Zoom competition in Russia, discussed the preparation and holding of the Color Zoom Awards Ceremony in Paris in October 2010.
