Kate Blanchett, as mentioned earlier, will appear on the pages of Porter Magazine, a publication owned by one of the largest online luxury retailers Net-a-Porter, in December 2015. And if the interview with her is mainly devoted to not the most glossy topics, then the photo shoot created by Ryan McGinley is a wonderful overview of the summer collections of brands. There are several of them here, although most are skillfully encrypted by fashion editor Katie Shillingford, dissolved in backgrounds or hidden in landscapes so as not to create unnecessary advertising noise. Still, these are seven mini-stories about Kate Blanchett, the magazine's guest who graced its cover, and not the booklet "Best Meeting Outfits for the New Year", but something can be identified.
For example, here's an outfit from Valentino's Resort 2015 collection, recognizable by its blue-gray chiffon with monkey silhouettes and airy wings. A white dress with see-through sleeves that almost merges with the sky is a folk tunic with a lace bust shown in the same place. A shirt with a collar = scarf looks like a summer model in a nautical style from Ralph Lauren, and a gray-violet tunic - on one of the presented in the autumn fashion show of the brand. In a delicate cloud of printed chiffon, embroidery and ostrich feathers spread among the roses, it's easy to recognize the outfit from Alexander McQueen, also shown almost a year ago during Fall / Winter 2014 Fashion Week.
Only a dress with a pattern of roses remains a mystery, from which only the edge is visible, so tightly surrounded by the leaves of an outlandish plant. The answer, however, can be found on the pages of Porter Magazine in December 2014.
