The second day of the 31st season of Mercedes-Benz Fashion Week Russi opened with a show of the Vadim Merlis brand, which won the Grand Prix of the Lamanova competition. The designer presented the Madrid collection, imbued with the atmosphere of a sultry Spanish city. This led to the choice of fabrics - lightness combined with rich draperies and layering, translucent sundresses and toga dresses, through which silhouettes are guessed. Merlis also picks up the trend for sleeveless jackets with an adjustable waist, accompanied by pajama pipe trousers in both womens and mens lines, choosing horizontal and vertical stripes, meringues, sand and a tired summer sky.

Then Natali Leskova presented her collection. Flared skirts and dresses show views of the Northern capital, where the designer comes from: St. Isaac's Cathedral and the panoramas of St. Petersburg, stained-glass windows of the Hermitage. Wine-colored lacquered accessories, associated with the gloss of polished cars on the Palace Embankment, go in tandem with regal blue velor figure dresses and cropped cardigans. The nostalgic collection of St. Petersburg was summed up by white sneakers with gilded toes and pumps with heels.

The performance presentation was shown by designer Anastasia Gassi and her brand IVK A. Fashion as high art - this is how you can describe a line of images, a synthesis of avant-garde with abstract expressionism. Models with whitewashed faces performed to live music. Textured things, catchy accessories (silver collars and exquisite hats), with a complete lack of accessories and very clear shapes. The designer continues to follow his concept - no more than five copies of each of the presented models.

Then the fashion show of the designer Tako Mekvabidze "Woman in a veil" took place. Muslim countries, their perception of beauty, sensuality and style became the inspiration, and the veil became an intriguing link in the collection. Muslim culture is reflected in unusual combinations, bright accents in the form of sequins, transparent fabrics, airy blouses, flowing hems of dresses and jackets with geometric prints.

The show of the FUREDDO brand became positive and colorful. Designer Anastasia Strugaleva tried to combine two cultures in the spring-summer 2016 collection - Russian and Japanese. The main symbol of the show and the new line of clothes was the matryoshka: a classic Russian doll and a prototype of a Japanese composite doll, symbolizing the god of luck Fukuruma. Themed prints dominated the entire collection, both in male and female looks: matryoshka silhouettes, their images with panda faces were ubiquitous.

ZARINA & Natalia Vodianova presented the Mini me collection as part of the Fashion with Purpose joint project. The Naked Heart Foundation for Children by Natalia Vodianova took part in the creation of the collection - people with disabilities were invited to fantasize on the theme of a blossoming Russian field. The assortment turned out to be diverse: current floral prints, flowing fabrics, floating organza combined with the finest lace, delicate palette - and all this is presented in two versions, in the family look style for mothers and their daughters.

LAROOM brand designer Evgeniya Legkodymova has created a thematic collection inspired by hot Africa. But there are no deliberately ethnic things in the line - the stake is made on the juicy colors and textures. There are jeans with "fringed" trim, and chiffon airy sundresses with bold cuts, and minimalist dresses decorated with geometric patterns, and a metallic line, where all things are a little "cosmic".

The spring-summer collection of the designer AlenAkhmadullin is reflected in the Russian fairy tale "Sadko". The starting point was the theme of the sea and the underwater world, embodied in it. To the sound of the surf, the show was opened by girls in snow-white dresses and pantsuits, followed by outfits of blue and turquoise shades. The colors and materials of the collection changed like a rippling sea from light blue to deep blue.

VIVVOX has painted the collection with raspberry and acid-green color interspersed with black and white stripes and checkers. Space fantasies are buzzing in silvery biker jackets, leather dresses with appliqué cutouts on the back and sumptuous crepe gown coats. The transcendental 90s sparkle through rhinestones on flared trousers and blazers made of printed fabric with embroidered sakura.

An amazing celebration of life was demonstrated by the designer of the Razu Mikhin brand in the Balkans collection, which became the final show of the second day. Juicy colors reflecting the ethnic diversity of the peninsula, the use of elements of the national costume, filigree elaboration of patterns on fabrics - the line of images turned out to be memorable and original.

Two brands were presented in the presentation boxes today - MASTERPEACE and SOL 'Designers. The new collection of the MASTERPEACE brand has a rebellious basis - the designer Evgenia Linovich was inspired by the gypsy nomadic culture, their boldness, variegation and catchiness. Various headbands and large beads, themed accessories - everything is designed in the same style. In addition to the accessory line, there is also a small capsule of clothing, represented by sundresses, tunics and caftans.

The SOL'Designers brand is a duet of photographer Olga Selivanova and florist Anna Kovalenko. The spring-summer collection from SOL'Designers is femininity and sensuality in one bottle, impeccable performance and the most delicate pastel combinations. Elegant silk dresses, transparent blouses, fitted jackets - the entire collection is imbued with lightness and serenity.

In addition to the main events, a presentation of the J.Kim brand took place at a third-party site in Teatralny Proezd. The work of the designer Zhenya Kim is associated with the interpretation of ancient Asian culture.
