Tina Kandelaki publicly presented her first initiative as a member of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. Her suggestions are formulated in the policy article "It's not who's to blame, but what to do", published on March 3 in her blog (http://tikandelaki.livejournal.com/109008.html).
On March 8, the intellectual show for young polymaths "The Most Intelligent", of which Tina Kandelaki has been the permanent host for 7 years, marks another anniversary from the date of its airing. All these years, Tina worked closely with children, personally traveled to the regions and realized that many young talents have no chances to be realized in our country due to the lack of efficiently working social elevators. “We need to bring together those who have the will to change their lives for the better. Those who are tired of talking about changes, those who want to make these changes,” Kandelaki is sure. To solve this serious problem, Tina suggests that everyone, with the support of business and the state, create a global platform on the Internet, where everyone can talk about personal successes or the achievements of friends and acquaintances. As a result, talented people will receive funds and opportunities to use their abilities and further self-development.
“I propose to create a platform on the Internet, where everyone could tell about their abilities, successes and achievements, as well as about their acquaintances and friends who deserve the attention of society,” explained Tina. She believes that the new site should provide users with maximum freedom in shaping and evaluating the content of the site. Within the framework of the project, Tina proposes to use teams of "scouts" who will travel throughout Russia and use the site to bring together the people they need. “As you know, the Internet has connected over 40 million people with each other. So let's use this tool to create a one-stop talent management information center. That is, by themselves,”Tina summed up.
This initiative has an important socio-political significance, since it comes from a well-known, public person. In addition, Tina has a decisive vote in the Education and Science Commission of the Public Chamber of the Russian Federation. "Thanks to the project aimed at developing talents, more heroes will appear in Russia. These are future winners of the Olympics, world championships, outstanding mathematicians, brilliant managers, authors of discoveries that change the world and life of each of us. We ourselves will find and promote them. We will to be proud of them. And the results of their work will make the life of each of us better, more comfortable and more convenient. This is the power that we talk about so much and which, in fact, we are ourselves! " - said Kandelaki.

Considering that Tina already owns the Face.ru site (as a shareholder of Apostol Media Group), this statement can be perceived rather ambiguously. If Apostol Media Group receives government support for the development of its social network, it will hit hard on competitors who are self-sustaining and profitable.
