Like other fashion brands, Nike took part in the Salone del Mobile in Milan. The company's site is a large-scale installation created by ten contemporary designers. The main theme of the project is the nature of movement.
Lindsay Adelman was inspired by the natural shapes and visuals that can be achieved by combining glass and rough metal. The designer presented a series of lighting installations. Italian sculptor and furniture maker Martino Gamper worked on an installation of wooden drums wrapped in Nike Flyknit branded material and Nike Flywire threads. Architect Greg Lynn came up with an ergonomic chair with built-in sensors that detect body temperature and effectively cool or protect muscles from hypothermia. In addition, Nike's installations have a lot of interesting things created on the basis of the brand's patented technologies.
