STILL RECENTLY, WE WOULD NOT HAVE THOUGHT TO REGISTER ACCESSORIES FROM TRANSPARENT PLASTIC ACCESSORIES. TODAY THEY RULE ON THE WORLD PODIUM, PLEASE TURN INTO THE MOST NOTICEABLE TREND OF THE SEASON "SPRING-SUMMER 2007"
The first shoes made of transparent plastic were created back in the 40s by the famous shoe designer Roger Vivier. And the most striking appearance of this unusual material was facilitated by the futuristic collections of the early 60s. In 1964, André Courrezh demonstrated his "Space Age" by dressing models in transparent helmets. In 1965, Paco Rabanne realized his search for "materials of the future" in the famous dresses made of plastic, metal, gold and even cellophane. And a year later, Pierre Cardin created another famous space collection. In the 90s, futuristic moods return when irrepressible Paco Rabanne again experiments with materials, reaching the most ridiculous ideas - for example, dresses from plastic bottles.
In the coming season, transparent textures accompany all kinds of accessories - these are bags, the contents of which are available to curious glances, and weightless translucent platforms or heels, and large bracelets. It is interesting that each designer found his own interpretation of this material. So, delicate decorations made of flowers and feathers make transparent sandals from Alexander McQueen a real shoe for a beautiful stranger. Other attributes of this retro look are hats, hand embroidery, and flying organza and silk silhouettes. If romanticism prevails in the Alexander McQueen collection, then Balenciag designer Nicolas Ghesquière has returned to futuristic origins, his heroine is a real warrior, in a jacket with lapels like blades, or in a dress made of sharp-angled patches, and her attribute is "android" glasses in transparent frame.
Alber Elbaz, creative director of Lanvin, made the leitmotifs of his collection black and shine - trench coats made of shiny, seemingly wet fabric, tunics and leather pantsuits. In this context, accessories made of dark plastic and sandals with transparent heels of a steel shade stand out. Clear heels and platforms are obviously favorites of the season. The "glass" platforms of sandals look organic in the DonnKaran ethnic collection, accompanied by draperies in muted shades. The opposite story from SoniRykiel - here bright shoes with transparent heels accompany minimalistic outfits.
Karl Lagerfeld once again subordinates the classic ideas of Chanel to the trends of the new season: this is how plastic platform sandals decorated with beads and stunning shapeless bags made of transparent plastic with a branded chain strap appear. The evening version of the transparent bag is from Blumarine: plastic wallet bags decorated with pearls. The new Fendi collection demonstrates a combination of traditional cut with futuristic materials, which are fully reflected in accessories, namely in silicone bags. Stella McCartney also paid attention to transparent plastic. It would seem that her collection does not imply even a hint of this material, but we see large beads that give freshness to her delicate and at the same time bright city clothes. So frivolous transparent plastic suddenly became a materialbringing to life the collections of the most famous fashion houses.
