The updated Forbes list of 30 out of 30 in the art section in 2015 will include the names of four young designers at once, two of whom are graduates of Saint Martins College. British women Simone Rocha and Phoebe English have once again proved that British fashion education is still the best in Europe. From the other end of the Atlantic, they are joined by MishNonoo and Christian Siriano, presenting their collections as part of New York Fashion Week. It is also nice that all four newcomers to the list work in their own genres and are in no way inferior to each other.

The winner of the American project Runway, known to Russian readers as "Podium", Christian Siriano is not only the youngest, but also the most active creator in the four. His collections are renewed 4 times a year, like those of major fashion houses like Moschino or Givenchy, and until the rhythm that Jean Paul Gaultier himself could not stand in 2014, Siriano is missing only couture lines. A distinctive feature of most of the couturier's works is the variety of themes, the lack of cross-cutting ideas for the season: Pre-fall 2015 from Christian Siriano is no more like his Resort than Picasso's "Girl on a Ball" on "Guernica".

MishNonoo, who made it to the CFDA final, is also American. Her style is the clothes of the streets of New York, it is easy to notice in it an imitation of the ideas of uninhibited luxury, urban chic, which are so proud of fashion designers who studied and stayed to work in the United States. Clothes from MishNonoo are almost always simple in terms of silhouette: minimum darts, no draperies or tucks, nothing that could distract you from your daily routine. The emphasis is almost always shifted to the shade, unusual pattern or texture of the fabric, the harmonious combination of the main elements of the costume. In spring and summer 2015, for example, MishNonoo is inspired by white, grape and light aquamarine.

The most avant-garde, albeit not the most famous yet, Phoebe English spends a lot of time among artists and contemporary illustrators, so her work can seem strange. In addition, she is not only a fashion designer, but also a stylist, in 2014 Dover Street Market invited her to design a window dedicated to the store's tenth anniversary; not surprisingly, even a small Phoebe English lookbook for the spring / summer 2015 season has worked out the background in almost as much detail as each individual look. A characteristic feature of many of Phoebe's works are large and uneven textures, voluminous materials, elements of the draft - protruding laces, patterns of threads, "random" elements layering on top of each other, creating the effect of incompleteness.

Simone Rocha, who ended Saint Martins in the same stream with Thomas Tait, is perhaps better known than the rest. Despite the prize from LVMH, which she nevertheless lost to Tate, the British Fashion Council this year recognized the outfits from Simone Roch as the best dresses for high society. So the high rating for Forbes was quite expected. Many of her collections are similar to attempts to combine the pretentiousness and mockery of Prad with the spontaneity and seriousness of Vivienne Westwood, and they can almost always be identified by their large decor. For example, spring and summer 2015 by Simone Roch are seriously covered with feathers and strewn with flowers.
