The life of InStyle magazine is closely connected with the world of cinema: traditionally it takes part in all significant world cinema events, such as the Oscars and Golden Globes, the Cannes International Film Festival, and also becomes the Official Partner of the Moscow International Film Festival for the tenth time in a row.
On the eve of the closing ceremony, all the flowers of cinema - actresses, filmmakers, producers and the business elite - gathered at InStyle GalDinner. The guests of the event were Darren Aronofsky, Nastasya Kinski, Alisa Khazanova, Katerina Shpitsa, Kristina Orbakaite, Aglaya Tarasova, Natalia Bardo, Konstantin and Alina Kryukovs, Alla Verber, Marina Zhigalova-Ozkan, Svetlana Bondarchuk, Yana Rudkovskaya, Lagovia Lagovia Bondarenko, Maria Bogdanovich, Maria Fomina and Alexey Kiselev and many others.
Traditionally, the event culminated in the presentation of the InStyle magazine award, established in 2011. InStyle is known for discovering new names and lighting up new stars, striving to support young talents and tell readers about them. This year, the InStyle prize was awarded to a representative of a new generation of Russian cinema, whose film is shown as part of the official program of the Moscow International Film Festival, for creating a vivid artistic image, impeccable stylistic solution and directorial debut. The prize - a statuette created by the legendary crystal house Baccarat, was given to actress and director Yang Ge from the hands of InStyle editor-in-chief Jurate Gurauskaite.
