It seems that the long-term litigation around the Russian and German versions of L'Officiel has come to an end. Recently, the rights to dispose of the brand on the territory of these two belong to Alexander Fedotov, the owner of Artcom MediGroup.

As the businessman himself told Kommersant, “ACMG bought the L'Officiel brand in Russia and Germany. There can be no more perturbations with the L'Officiel brand in Russia”. In addition to L'Officiel, Alexander Fedotov's company publishes the magazines SNC, Numero, Port, Interni, Objekt and Golf Digest. In March of this year, the first issue of the updated Russian version of L'Officiel, headed by Ksenia Sobchak, was released.
Additionally, it is reported that by the end of 2015, the publishing house intends to come to an agreement with the French company Jalou MediGroup on the use of their brand "in two more territories." In Germany, meanwhile, previously there was only a male version of L'Officiel, but in May 2015, the debut number from ACMG was released. A female version is slated to be released in November, followed by L'Officiel Voyage next year.
