Former editor-in-chief of Vanity Fair magazine launches new online edition.
After parting in 2017 with the editorial staff of Vanity Fair, journalist Graydon Carter set to work on the concept of a new project. Recently, the renowned editor-in-chief announced the launch of a new online publication called Air Mail. The project will be updated every Saturday and will talk about the most relevant events that deserve attention. Greydon Carter himself said: “Air Mail will focus on international and domestic events, covering politics, art, literature, film, television, design, architecture, theater and society. All of this will be covered by some of the best journalists in the world - seriously, authoritatively and witty."
For example, the first issue of the publication was published on July 20 and contains materials about the Apollo 11 spacecraft and the first flight to the moon. Also in the first issue you can find an article about the Italian writer Helena Ferrante and the play by David Mamet "Bitter Wheat". This issue was written by writer Emily Ludolph, theater critic John Lahr and journalist Andrea Lee of The New Yorker.
