For the new collection of her second line, the Italian designer chose the eighties as a source of inspiration. Miuccia is working on the image of a strong woman again, this time turning to a retro aesthetic rather than cutting-edge technology. Prada remains true to herself: she has fun creating clothes, but does not forget that modern girls want to dress not only stylishly and original, but also without sacrificing their own comfort. Hence the exaggerated volumes, soft natural textures, and functional cut. The designer generously decorates new looks with prints and bright colors, sometimes playing on contrasts, but without Italian excess. The end result is what many of Miucci's colleagues have been striving for this season - everyday glamor that is neither distracting nor annoying.
