Moschino's fall / winter collection is a vibrant mix of retro-futurism from the 1960s, when the space age was in full swing. Jeremy Scott expertly dissects the everyday style of the time, making multiple curtsies to Jacqueline Kennedy. The designer generously decorates the neat, but very sexy costumes with pop-art elements and reminds of the beginning of the Star Trek saga. To highlight the mood, Scott dyes the skin of some models in orange, turquoise and pink shades.
However, at the end of the show, Jeremy resigns Jackie in favor of Marilyn and presents several evening dresses, in which there is both grace and a reminder of the atomic bomb was not enough on the catwalk only Austin Powers to bring the designer's thought to a logical resolution.
