Project 530 is the second collaboration between West NYC and New Balance. Following the crushing success of the limited edition 580 designed by West NYC, the retailer is once again contributing to a new silhouette returning to collections from the American manufacturer's rich archives.
The 530 Running Model first came out in 1992. This shoe was one of the first to use synthetic materials to give the shoe a lightweight feel.
In 2014, New Balance 530 returned to the collection of the American brand and one of the first retailers to work on an archival silhouette was West NYС. While working on sneakers, West NYC designers were inspired by the aesthetics of the 90s, and when choosing colors for a future project, they tried to move away from the now popular trend of "black and white" and used "neon" shades popular at that time.
The West NYC x New Balance "Project 530" sneaker will kick off this Saturday, January 24th. The release will be presented in extremely limited quantities in the Street Beat store in the Golden Babylon shopping center. We recommend arriving early
