The spring-summer collection ALEXANDERARUTYUNOV was created under the influence of the architecture of the Soviet constructivism of the Transcaucasus, in which Alexander Arutyunov became a designer. Soviet constructivism is characterized by rigor, geometrism, laconic forms and solid appearance.
Most of the items in the collection include elements of constructivism, reflected in the combination of different color elements in one wardrobe detail.
The color palette of the collection echoes the multifaceted shades of off-season nature. Every color used in clothing can be found in the autumn mountains covered with dense forest. Deep orange, marsh, dark brown and dull yellow. The materials of the collection are silk organza, silk, cambric, leather and suede.
The main heroine of the 2012 spring-summer collection was a woman who carries the strength of a warrior, hidden under a feminine appearance.
Alexander Arutyunov was born and raised in Georgia. The Georgian women around him with an innate sense of taste and style influenced the choice of his occupation. Since then, the designer's goal has been to create a feminine look for a strong and confident woman.
