From the very beginning, Marusya Zaitseva took the commercial orientation of her work as a reference point - and she is absolutely right in this. An artist cannot work if he has nothing to eat. In the new collection we see comfortable basic things - and their fashionable variations, for example, wide "pajama" sets next to classic trousers and shirts.
Next to the usual sweaters in a sporty style - an unusual model, a hybrid of a shirt, sweatshirt and tunic, with buttons. Marusya begins to find interesting moves in simple things, and not by complicating the cut, but simply by ignoring design clichés.
One of the notable trends of the season is actively developed in the collection - a free silhouette of a short dress with a block color (sleeves or half of the sleeves do not coincide with the shelves, the back and front are made of different fabrics, etc.). This technique creates the impression that a person is wearing several things, although in fact she is one.
The heroes of the collection were freezing in anticipation of the coming winter (although this one is still in no hurry to leave), and the sad images with stooped shoulders, aggravated by makeup and knitted hats, reminded of places not so distant. Which was clearly the goal, because on the coat "tattoos" shouted: "All my friends are in the camps", "Let us catch our breath." This "message" has its own meaning, but I will not dwell on it here. And no, this is not about camps and not about prisoners in the truest sense of the word, this is a metaphor.
However, in life everything is much brighter. And on the back of a plaid coat, we suddenly see a zodiacal picture of a blue sky. Stars promise success to Marusa Zaitseva!
