Parisian designer Ora Ito has developed the concept of future sneakers for the sports brand. Inspired by the French in the design of the famous Eames Lounge chair, designed by Charles and Ray Eames.

Designers Charles and Ray Eames invented this chair in 1956 especially for the furniture company Herman Miller. The model was made of leather and wood and had a separate footrest. The chair quickly won the hearts of consumers and became a true legend. By the way, it still looks very modern.

In an interview, Ora Ito shared, “This idea has been in my head for a long time. I wanted to create the Nike Eames to translate the form language and aesthetics of the Eames chair into sports culture.” Future sneakers will be made of black leather with wood inserts. It is not entirely clear how comfortable such shoes are, whether it is true that natural wood will be used in them, but we can see the concept already now.
