The Czech porcelain manufactory Rudolf Kampf has released a collection "National Traditions", sketches for which were created back in the 1920s.
In the history of the manufactory, there is a record that the design was proposed by the son of one of the artists of the plant. Initially, the proposal was not considered. However, it so happened that at this time an important government official visited the factory, who, having examined the sketches, said that he would gladly have such a service at home.
And so it happened: the service was produced, and a high-ranking official ordered it for his home. Later, throughout its history, the collection had various modifications and decors, and it was chosen by many influential persons. Thus, the service, decorated with matte gold staffages, won special recognition from the President of the Czech Republic, Tomáš Garrigue Masaryk.
The collection "National Traditions" is made in the Rococo style from real hard porcelain and decorated with exquisite ornaments using 24-carat gold. Today it includes tea and dining sets, plates and tea pairs in nine decors.
