Within the framework of the Gubernskiy Style festival, Viktor Kuzmichev gave a meaningful 2-hour lecture on a constructive approach in fashion for students of the Voronezh State Vocational Pedagogical College and guests of the festival. Prepared and published in 2010-2011 by the Department of Apparel Designing of the Ivanovo State Textile Academy. a three-volume collection of clothing modeling and design. The three-volume edition reflects the unique technologies of design and analysis of drawings and "figure-clothes" systems, developed at the department since 1975. All editions of the three-volume edition have passed external examination, have the stamp of the Educational and Methodological Association of universities in the field of technology and design of light industry products and are recommended as teaching aids.

Methods of garment shaping using a package of materials and design solutions are considered. Methods for the analysis and historical research of visual images and structural drawings are presented for the first time.

The book for the first time systematized information related to the complex analysis of the parameters of the drawings of clothing designs. There have not been such publications in Russia yet. A unified algorithm for assessing the quality of drawings for designs of shoulder and waist clothing is considered, which allows analyzing and refining them at the design stage, achieving balance and eliminating defects in the size, shape and fit of clothing on a person's figure, assessing the manufacturability of drawings. Methods for checking balances in drawings of clothing designs and criteria for their assessment are given. The information in the book will make it possible to obtain high quality drawings using both traditional and computer technologies.
