The world famous MANGO brand yesterday presented its Spring-Summer 2014 collection at the DI Telegraph Central Telegraph building, in the very heart of Moscow. Aspiring model and actress Ireland Baldwin and blogger Andy Torres (www.stylescrapbook.com) were special guests of the show.

Ireland Basinger Baldwin, the daughter of actors Alec Baldwin and Kim Basinger, is making her first steps in the modeling business, and she is predicted to have a great future in the fashion world, and Ireland has also already managed to act in films. About her collaboration with the Ireland brand, she said: “This is my second time working with MANGO and I am very pleased with this collaboration. A loyal fan of MANGO, Andy has collaborated with the brand many times: in 2010 she developed the MANGO Touch accessories collection, in 2013 she became the protagonist of the Autumn-Winter 2013 online catalog for the launch of the new MANGO Sport line. Andy is proud of her most recent projects: she was a jury member for the television show ELLE México Diseña and hosted the Click program on Cosmopolitan TV. Andy said about the new collection: “I love the monochrome white ensembles introduced this season, as well as the straight-line silhouettes. The show featured 78 looks: 44 from the MANGO women's collection, 19 from HE by MANGO, 6 from MANGO Kids, and the Violetby MANGO line with 9 looks was presented for the first time.

For the Spring-Summer 2014 season, the MANGO collection focuses on minimalist cuts and laconic design, against which details stand out especially effectively.

The style of the collection is clearly influenced by the 90s, when preference was given to simple and comfortable clothes with elegant cut.

The color scheme of the collection is dominated by black and white tandem and monochrome.

Summer ensembles are dominated by natural tones: milky, yellow, red and dark blue.

Crop tops, high-waisted trousers and boxy jumpers pay homage to the musically influenced era. The déjà vu of the 90s is also expressed in the use of new fabrics such as poplin, neoprene, along with the frequently encountered pleats and texture mixes.

The new Violetby MANGO line is available in Russia in the online store mango.com and in the first store in Kazan. During this year, it is planned to open 10 Violetby MANGO stores in Moscow, St. Petersburg, Chelyabinsk, Yekaterinburg, Omsk, Novosibirsk and Krasnodar.
