The prodigal son of the Roberto Cavalli house is back. At the last Milan Fashion Week, guests could see the spring-summer collection created by designer Peter Dundas. He left the brand ten years ago and is now back with a collection full of rock, sex and house traditions.

Essentially speaking, it can be seen with the naked eye that Dundas brought to Roberto Cavalli a lot of the Pucci aesthetic, where he worked for many years. The new collection is certainly in the spirit of Cavalli, but it is passed through the prism of the latest interests of Peter Dundas. The designer took as a basis what at one time made Roberto Cavalli famous, and focused on the finds of the 1980s. One of the characteristic techniques, of course, has become animalistic prints. However, Dundas does not use them directly, he makes a multi-print from images of lions, and turns the leopard's spot into perforations.
Mini-skirts, ruffled trains, high-waisted trousers, belts, fringes, metal details, open body areas, bare shoulders - all this is also here. This style seemed to have been buried back in the 1980s, however, according to the new creative director, it has a place on the catwalk. How much he is right, sales will show.
