If Orson Welles had decided to make a remake of his classic film "Othello", he would probably have to turn to the Roberto Cavalli atelier for costumes, heroes. However, Othello in the designer's version would have to get acquainted with ecstasy and catch his beautiful Desdemona at techno parties somewhere on the island of Ibitza.
It is not surprising that such a bright combination of seemingly incompatible styles has borne commercial results: the Cavalli Fashion House does not lack financial resources. The designer simply adores good-looking women who are ready for any, the most daring adventures and presents a collection created for “a daring traveler, accustomed to luxury, romance, decadent atmosphere and exoticism of the East”.
Not surprisingly, the catwalk was dominated by magnificent gypsy skirts combined with lace-up boots, leather and suede jackets, elegant gold embroidery and luxurious furs (by the way, the designer used Russian fur, considering it the most suitable). Only one small question remains open: will you accept the role of Desdemona, even for the sake of such a luxurious outfit?
