Designer ROLAND MOURET has eight days before he has to leave the company that bears his name. For now, the first thing he is going to do is to rest: "I'm not going on a trip - I have a lot of plans here." Plans include designing ballet costumes, as well as collaborating with the musician and old friend Marc Almond on a video for his new album. “Stopping your daily commute gives you so much precious time for all the things you wanted to do,” says Mouret.
But we still get a chance to wear the clothes he created. Perhaps he will take the place of the left Chloe Phoebe Philo: "It's not that this was a glorified House, I would take it if it is interesting enough." But perhaps he will start his own business again: “I'm not upset that I lost the Roland Mouret brand. I think that women appreciate the sensations or aesthetics of this or that designer, so if they like your work, they will follow you, as if the brand was not named. I am no longer involved with Roland Mouret, and for me it does not matter what happens there, it is not my business. I had a good relationship in the past, I take the best from it and leave everything else behind."
