On March 27, the Italian fashion house Salvatore Ferragamo celebrated the opening of the exhibition “Saint Anne, Leonardo dVinci's Ultimate Masterpiece” at the Louvre in Paris. Salvatore Ferragano, the exclusive sponsor of the exhibition, brought together 60 dignitaries for an Italian-style dinner in the baroque interior of the Mollien Café in the Louvre.
At the beginning of the event, the guests had a unique opportunity to be the first to visit the exhibition and admire the work of Leonardo da Vinci, the restoration of which has just been completed under the leadership of the exhibition curator Vincent Delieuvin and the Italian restorer Cinzi Pasquali. Then a private tour of the museum awaited the guests.
While viewing the famous masterpieces of the Denon wing, the Ferragamo family, as well as a small circle of celebrities and VIPs, were accompanied by the director of the Louvre, Henri Loyrette, which testifies to the uniqueness of this outstanding event in the art world.
Ferragamo decided to organize a celebration in honor of the Italian genius Leonardo in the Parisian temple of art in a truly Italian spirit: the premises were decorated with floral arrangements of roses, buttercups, anemones and red tulips. The flowers were delivered directly from Italy. Traditional Tuscan produce was served for dinner. In addition to the Ferragamo family, many distinguished guests attended the celebration: Hilary Swank, Carole Bouquet, Virginie Ledoyen, Elis Sednaoui, Dolores Chaplin and others.
