This summer, one of London's most brilliant designers, SophiKokosalaki, spent an unforgettable vacation in Greece, the country where she was once born. It was the luxurious riot of colors and the lightness of the silhouettes of a long-abandoned homeland that prompted the fashion designer to abandon the already familiar summer city line and devote his tenth collection to those who like to spend the summer away from home.
The designer ditched her traditional leather bodices and elaborate macramé collars, using stretch jersey, which she transformed into elegant mini dresses in dirty pink, sheer white and pure blue that fit tightly. Flesh-colored chiffon was used as the main material for evening dresses.
However, the collection also featured a number of 'urban' outfits, such as elegant shorts, which were combined into an ensemble with literally any other detail of a summer dress. Greek tops with braided hems, asymmetrical bodice lines, biker tops and form-fitting black dresses - the collection looked very attractive and fresh.
