On April 15, 2006, the ART Garbage club will host a Spring Charity Auction in favor of children - patients of the Federal Center for Pediatric Hematology.
Spring is a time of hope. Children suffering from cancer and blood diseases also hope - that they will be helped.
Famous Russian designers agreed to help the children. Irina Zima, Daria Razumikhina, Lena Lenskaya, Sultanna Frantsuzova, Tatiana Belyakovskaya, MAINAIM (Savateeva Victoria and Kalinina Lada) and others will put up their lots for auction. In addition, lots will be exhibited: a unique postcard, which was issued a hundred years ago by the charitable organization of Grand Duchess Tatyana Nikolaevna, exquisite albums by famous photographers, jewelry created by children-patients of the hematology department, art objects from the Children of Maria art center. The host of the auction is Anton Komolov.
In Russia, oncology ranks second in the statistics of mortality among children from 1 to 14 years old. Children's cancer is now successfully treated in many cases. According to statistics from developed countries, with the modern level of medicine, up to 80% of the sick can be cured. However, modern treatment involves the purchase of expensive drugs. Children should not die because there was not enough money for treatment.
The organizers of the auction, the "Donors for Children" initiative group and the Regional Charitable Public Foundation for Helping Children with Serious Blood Diseases are calling everyone with a good heart to attend the auction and help children overcome the disease!
Place and time: April 15, 18-00, ART Garbage club, Starosadsky lane, 5
