Orange is the new black. And this is not only the name of the sensational series, but also the Spanish vision of the beginning of autumn. Juanjo Oliva, a young fashion designer, is in full agreement with Carlos Diez in comparison with the meters that came out with him on the same catwalk during the Spanish Fashion Week under the patronage of Mercedes Benz. He even uses a similar shade, although structurally and in terms of sources, the collections are radically different from each other. Oliva's work for her own brand Elogy is casual, comfortable clothing with a touch of time.

The 70s became the sources of inspiration for the fashion designer: the era of disco, new romance, the craze for bell-bottomed trousers and bohemian style. His jumpsuit dresses, trimmed with a wide black ribbon around the collar and hem, V-necks and loose, flowing skirts, a bold combination of red, orange and black in patterns and ensembles - from the "eternal holiday" of the time when the whole office walked dance. Perhaps here Elogy and Juanjo Oliva are even slightly ahead of the mainstream runway fashion, still in the 60s.

Another direction of the collection is functionalism and minimalism of the 80s. Smooth fabrics or materials with the most primitive texture, no redundancy in the cut, general shapes, soft silhouettes that do not restrict movement, or, on the contrary, emphasize the purpose of a particular set of clothing. Today, when people wear sports shoes on the red carpet, it looks a little naive, however, society does not yet plan to get rid of the concepts of "business suit", "uniform" and "work dress code". At the end of this week we will have a chance to see the path the catwalk will take in 2015, perhaps these formal and deliberately relaxed ensembles are the forerunner of fashion for new frames.

“I called it Enamorarse,” says Juanjo Oliva of his work, “because, I confess, I'm in love with this idea and its implementation. This collection is completely different from all my previous shows, although there were twenty of them. For the first time, I set myself a goal - to find parts of what makes up the harmony, integrity of a modern woman. We can say that this is really my first ready-to-wear collection.
