The organizers of the Florentine Men's Fashion Show have prepared some surprises for those who visit Pitti Uomo in January.
Last season, Pitti Uomo was attended by 36,000 guests, which made it possible to talk about fashion days in Florence as one of the most important events in the industry. For the sake of the local public, Raf Simons and Gosha Rubchinsky brought their shows from Paris here, and the organizers realized that the event should be treated more carefully. Season 91 of Pitti Uomo kicks off in Florence in January and opens with a guest star. The star of the show this time will be the great original and individualist of British fashion Paul Smith. Here the designer will present the debut collection of his new PS line. Among the special guests, you can also find the name of the Belgian designer Tim Coppens, who will present his fall-winter collection next year in Florence.
In addition, organizers of Pitti Uomo 91 are promising shows for Ben Cottrell and Matthew Danty and their contemporary luxury brand, Cottweiler. As the designers themselves say, they create their collections, inspired by digital art and sports fetishism. On the local catwalk, the duo will present a collection created in collaboration with the Reebok brand.
Through the Pitti Italics initiative, the event will also showcase a host of new talent, including Carlo Volpi, Lucio Vanotti, Plus Sansovino 6, and several brands from Japan and South Korea. The dance theme of the season will be revealed through street performances, private events, contests and other events accompanying fashion shows.
