The exhibition "Secrets of Harmony" will be presented in one of the most beautiful ceremonial halls of St. Petersburg, in the two-level Marble Hall, which got its name for the facing with unique pink Karelian marble. " The exposition "Secrets of Harmony" will feature thematic groups consisting of ensembles of clothing from various collections. Thus, a group of black evening coats will amaze the audience with the luxury of tambour embroidery, trimming with gold braid, inlaid with bugles, beads and sequins, the scope of voluminous designs of velvet coats and the refined splendor of jacquard coats decorated with tinted fur.
A group of outfits in a red range of colors will surely attract the attention of viewers, not only with color, but also with a variety of shapes, fabric textures and bold design decisions. The hit of the exposition will be models made of Pavlovo Posad shawls. Coats and luxurious dresses, skirts and corsets, all assembled by a skilled hand with the precision of detailed mathematical calculations. The author generously decorates a fantastic kaleidoscope of multicolored patterns with beads, gold braid and multicolored lace, without crossing the elusive line, beyond which taste and kitsch begin. Elegant sets of French jacquards and luxurious German checked silks will also captivate visitors to the Ethnographic Museum with their virtuoso decoration with embroidery and lace in the color of noble bronze. A group of evening dresses will amaze with multi-layered ensembles,hiding in their depths amazing sculptural corsets, decorated with feathers of exotic birds.
