The famous musical and lyric by Mikhail Kazakov "The Intercession Gate" based on the play of the same name by Leonid Zorin will appear in a new reading on the main stage of the Theater. M. N. Ermolova - on June 1, the premiere of the project "CINEMA ON STAGE" will take place, within which the script of the legendary film will be read! The new project is one of a kind: each script will be read only once by a unique cast.

"Pokrovskie Gates" will be performed anew:
Oleg Menshikov
Anna Ardova
Mikhail Efremov
Christine Asmus
Alexander Petrov
Daria Melnikova
The names of the rest of the star participants in the project "CINEMA ON THE STAGE" will be disclosed in the near future - follow the news in the social networks of the Theater. M. N. Ermolova and The Butterfly Effect. The distribution of roles between the cast will remain a mystery to the audience until the very beginning of the event.

Oleg Menshikov, artistic director and director of the Theater. M. N. Ermolova, the head of the "CINEMA ON STAGE" project, is pleased to present to the public my new project:
“I am often asked the question, who and with how crazy an idea can come to me? And I always answer that anyone can come to me, the main thing is the power of persuasiveness and infectiousness! Recently, the Butterfly Effect company, which we met at Attraction, took and came along and offered, in my opinion, a wonderful story - CINEMA ON THE STAGE.
According to the idea, quite famous people gather on the stage of the theater, there are music stands in front of them, they sit on chairs and read the script of some very famous Soviet cinema. It seemed to us that this could be extremely interesting. Artists don't rehearse. They only get together this evening. The uniqueness is that the project is not recorded on tape, not played a second time. Everything exists only once - June 1, 2017. All. Those who came, they will see it, no one will see it again and never. For the start, we decided to use a completely "unexpected" name - "Pokrovskie Vorota".
