The greenhouse is filled with thousands of flowers with amazing properties: some are striking in shape and color, others seem to glow in the twilight, and still others exude incredible aromas - chocolate, vanilla, blue cheese, lemon, coconut, dust, mulled wine, meat and cinnamon. All day on February 13, the Sergei Andriyaka School of Watercolors is holding an Open Doors Day. All who came to the holiday will find themselves in a magical "kingdom", where landscapes and still lifes, portraits and interiors are made using the technique of light, airy watercolors permeated with sunlight.
In trial lessons, they will turn into real artists and, under the strict guidance of a professional, they will write the first watercolor, perhaps in their life. They will see with their own eyes how a work of art is born: the artists will hold master classes for the audience. On a tour of the School, they will get acquainted with the works of the People's Artist of Russia S. N. Andriyaki, teachers and students of the School. They will learn what it takes to be able to study at the School of Watercolor. And they will also take part in the quiz "Do you know the masterpieces of world fine art?" and listen to the lecture "The Female Image in Art from Antiquity to the Present". In addition, they will have a unique opportunity to visit the exhibition “The Attraction of Realism. Contemporary Artists ", which at this time takes place in the halls of the changing collections of the Museum and Exhibition Complex of the School.
