Long ago the great Shakespeare remarked: “The whole world is theater. There are women, men - all actors in it. " And since then, little has changed, only the old stories require new interpretations, and the most ancient problems require new solutions. For the 17th time, Moscow stages will host the International New European Theater NET 2015: very soon, just a few days ago, the audience will plunge into the magical atmosphere of acting, in which they will notice innovative intonations and plasticity. The poster of the festival accurately reflects his mood - a stylish young man cutting a fake papier-mâché burger is a symbolic image of the consumer society in modern conditions. However, despite the "artificial" food on the poster, the organizers of the festival assure us that an extremely tasty program of performances and performances awaits us.which will surprise even jaded theatrical gourmets.
In contrast to the NET-2014 program, which almost entirely consisted of productions by legendary theaters and eminent directors, the main part of the poster of the 17th festival will be composed of new names of European directors, whose works will be shown in Moscow for the first time. The NET Festival is once again going through the stage of a creative reboot and takes on the courage of an absolute pioneer.

In addition, for the second year in a row, the NET festival club invites viewers to open communication and discussion of interesting cultural phenomena. Every day from 23 to 29 November, film screenings, meetings and lectures will be held in the Boyar Chambers of the STD RF. This year, the Festival Club introduces its guests to the new names of young documentary filmmakers from the school, Marina Razbezhkina and Mikhail Ugarov, as well as directors from the Moscow School of New Cinema. Topics for discussion will be trends in contemporary cinema and dance, the direction of musical improvisation, as well as Russian theater in the context of today. On the final evening, a cozy home concert with the participation of young musicians will take place.
