In 2017, the Fashion House NinRicci turns 85. In Russia, the landmark date will be celebrated with two important events: from October 26 to December 10, Moscow will host a large-scale exhibition “NINRICCI. IN A DREAM AND REALITY”, and on November 16, the Fashion House's ambassador, top model and actress Letizia Casta, will visit the capital.
From its inception to the present day, the fashion house NinRicci has been synonymous with French chic, sophisticated femininity and romantic style. Staying true to the traditions laid down by the founder, Nina Ricci, the brand has grown into an empire of fashion and perfumery.
From October 26 to December 10, the Fashion House NinRicci will present its first exhibition in Russia - “NINRICCI. IN A DREAM AND REALIZATION”- a modern fairy tale, a fantasy world, embodied in five halls of the State Gallery on Solyanka. Acting on all possible types of sensations, complementing and transforming reality, the exhibition plays with the guest's imagination, who sometimes does not understand where magic ends and reality begins. What seemed like fantasy yesterday comes to life in the NinRicci universe today.
The journey will begin with the history and heritage of the Fashion House from the personal archive - the first sketches of dresses, unpublished photographs, interviews with Nina Ricci and her son Robert Ricci, legendary moments from the life of the brand and, of course, perfume bestsellers. In one of the halls, the Brazilian artist Ana Strampf, inspired by the lightness of the truly French House of NinRicci, will take you into the world of vivid and vivid illustrations.
Ana's works for NinRicci and covers of international publications (Brooklyn, Time, System, New York, Life, etc.) have become real art objects and reflect a new look at the world of fashion and art. Plunging into the world of Nin and Luna fragrances, the viewer will find himself in a fairy forest. Exhibition “NINRICCI. IN A DREAM AND REALITY”is a journey through the history of the Fashion House. Each visitor will be able to go from the origins of the brand to the present day, in which NinRicci is a member of many striking collaborations.
The next high-profile event in celebration of the 85th anniversary of the Fashion House will be the opening of the NinRicci pop-up space in TSUM, where Letizia Casta will be the guest of honor. This year, the model became the face of the new fragrance Rose Extase, light floral notes of which envelop the skin with a gentle and sensual touch, awakening innermost desires in a woman.
TSUM will present the iconic collection Collection Cristal NinRicci - five legendary fragrances dressed in precious crystal flacons Lalique. Also, TSUM visitors will have access to the collection fragrances L'Air du Temps Collection Lumière.
A true work of art, unique handcrafted bottles are adorned with real feathers. Created in collaboration with one of the oldest plume ateliers in France, the House of Lemarié, the bottles of the iconic L'Air du Temps are traditionally crowned with kissing doves - a symbol of freedom, peace and love.
