By tradition, Pantone announces the most relevant colors long before the end of the Fashion Week season - this time, the New York Fashion Week Fall-Winter 2012-2013 has not finished yet, as the most fashionable shades of the coming fall have already been decided.
Judging by the designer collections for the upcoming fall-winter season presented on the New York catwalk, Pantone's predictions once again proved to be quite accurate: firstly, bright orange (Tangerine Tango, or "Tangerine tango" according to Pantone), and, secondly, in the new season he will be accompanied by other, no less bright shades of pink (Pink Flambe), blue (Olympian Blue), yellowish green (Bright Chartreuse) and blue-green (Ultramarine Green). An excellent example of all these color combinations is, perhaps, Diane von Furstenberg's fall-winter 2012-2013 collection, where the above shades become even richer and brighter due to the combination with black.
According to Pantone forecasts, in the coming autumn, more "autumn", muted shades will be no less relevant - golden honey Honey Gold, muted pink Rose Smoke, pale purple Rhapsody, gray Titanium.
