At the time, the company was trying to find a name that would fit the quality footwear and, while unusual, would attract foreign buyers. This is how the LLOYD trademark was chosen and registered. Almost unchanged since then, the logo is still used on every pair of LLOYD shoes.
In 1942 the factory moved to the small town of Sühlingen, near Bremen. And in 2001 a new production was opened. The initial stage of tailoring is carried out at a factory in Malta, after which the finished shoes are assembled in Zulingen. Therefore, the label "Made in Germany" on every pair of LLOYD shoes is completely true.
