To make cocktails (and in general …) you need large pieces of ice. I have not yet found ready-made molds, so the blanks in bags are ideal! Ice of the required size, it is convenient to pick out, store, etc. When using "small" pieces of ice, there is a rapid melting, the ice does not have time to completely cool the drink and mix the ingredients. As a last resort, of course, it will do. Found ice in bags in the Azbuka Vkusa and in one general store on the way to the dacha. There is no ice in Auchan, Seventh Continent, Crossroads! And in general, a good "bouquet" for making cocktails was found only in the Metro.
I also want to share a few new recipes and observations. If you take white rum, soda, add a little mint syrup and a little lime, you get a chemical mojito. The taste is very similar to the real one, although a little "cheap" appearance and composition of ingredients, but quickly!
Also, through an unsuccessful experiment, it was empirically found that dairy ingredients cannot be added to Pinot Colada for "whitening". The added coconut milk (more precisely, coconut cream) killed the cocktail! Whitening was needed when using Malibu rum instead of coconut liqueur. It tastes very similar, only transparent. Gives less white foam when mixed in a shaker.
It also turned out that after all the experiments, in the morning I had a completely clean head … Maybe it's just me:)
