In addition, Mattel announced that Nicholas Lamm, who created the "realistic Barbie," would be creating Ken with realistic proportions. “At school I really wanted to have cubes on my stomach. As a result, I trained to exhaustion and lost so much weight that I even stopped recognizing myself in the mirror. And I am sure that I am not the only one,”Nikolai commented on the news. The male version will be created based on the proportions of the average 19 year old male.
