The French Fashion House announced the completion of the construction of its foundation and announced the date of the official opening. The platform, which will support contemporary art, will begin to function fully in October this year.
Designed by the fantastic design of architect Frank Gehry, Von Louis Vuitton will become one of the European and world flagships for the popularization and development of contemporary art. Some of the Fondation Louis Vuitton galleries will take up permanent exhibitions, while others will house temporary projects. Part of the premises will be given over to creative workshops of artists.
I think it will be especially pleasant and easy for the artists to work in the new space. The terraces of the futuristic building made of metal and glass offer unique panoramas and views of Paris. This, of course, cannot but inspire.
By the way, the first project of the new site will be an exhibition dedicated to the chief architect of the Foundation's building. It will echo the first Frank Gehry retrospective, which will receive its first visitors at the Center Pompidou, also in October 2014.
